It's time to start over. I began a blog on Wordpress nearly 18 months ago. It was my way to share stories of coming to terms with my homosexuality while trying to stay faithful to my LDS upbringing. There have been a lot of bumps in the road to my self discovery. I have experienced anguish and pain, but I have also felt extreme levels of love and joy.
You can read my previous stories here, and I hope to continue sharing my thoughts about the same topic on this new site. While my desire is to help and inspire others, the ultimate gift I get from writing down these stories is deeper healing and more empathy towards others.
These are my thoughts and stories, and I hold them close to my heart. While I am proud of who I am, I also value my privacy. That's one reason I have kept my identity a mystery. In my mind, it really doesn't matter who I am because thousands of brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, fathers, mothers, neighbors, and friends have endured similar experiences. Many of us have survived and become stronger because of these experience. Unfortunately, too many did not make it past the pain. My hope is that we don't lose anyone else because of misinformation and bigotry.
Thank you for joining me here. If you like what you see, please share it with others.
